Senator Carroll - Is it the intention of the Government to spend any portion of the money in providing more lights around the north-west coast of Western Australia ?

Senator Sir WILLIAMGLASGOW.No; the expenditure is to be incurred chiefly for optical and other apparatus for lightships.
