Senator CRAWFORD (QUEENSLAND) (Honorary Minister) - The honorable the Minister for Works and Railways has supplied the following answer : -

1.   This is not a question for reconsideration by the Government. Under the acts passed by the Commonwealth and the States of New South Wales and Queensland,, the construction of the Grafton to South Brisbane railway is vested in theRailway Council, which has entire control, and decides the standard of permanent way bridges, tunnels,&c., &c
