Senator GRANT (NEW SOUTH WALES) - Can the Minister for Home and Territories say if the person or persons responsible for the murder of the white prospectors at Nakanai, New Britain, have yet been captured?

Senator Sir WILLIAMGLASGOW.No. Following upon a report of trouble at Nakanai a party of native polite in charge of an officer of the Administration established an advance post, and is continuing the inquiries as to the reason for the outrage, and will also endeavourto arrest the culprits.
