Senator McLACHLAN (South Australia) (Honorary Minister) . - This clause is inserted on the suggestion of the Attorney-General in another State, who thinks it undesirable that the word " seizure " should be included in the principal act. In outlying districts it is exceedingly difficult and expensive to effect a seizure before a sale, and, as the word " sale " will have the same effect, the Government see no objection to the amendment.

Clause agreed to.

Clause 12 (Validity of certain payments to bankrupt and transferee).
