Senator ELLIOTT (VICTORIA) - I ask the Leader of the Senate whether the attention of the Cabinet has been directed to an article which appears in a newspaper, headed "New Guinea - German's Startling Boast." " Has Federal Minister in Each Pocket! " stating that a German who is resident in Rabaul is openly boasting that he has a Federal Minister in each of his pockets, and that he has been employed by Australians to tender on their behalf for expropriated properties; the astounding feature being that in many cases he has been able to judge the upset price to a penny?
