Senator PEARCE (Western Australia) (Vice-President of the Executive Council) . -I regret to inform the Senate that, as the result of inquiries which I have made, there is no prospect of the Appropriation Bill reaching the Senate from another place for some time. Present appearances indicate that it should be possible for it to reach us before 4 o'clock. In the circumstances, I suggest that it would meet the convenience of honorable senators if the sitting were suspended until 4 o'clock.
