Senator NEEDHAM (Western Australia) . - I should like to have the assurance of the Leader of the Senate that it is not intended to go right through with the bill to-night.

Senator Pearce - Not if it means sitting beyond 11 o'clock.

Senator NEEDHAM - The debate on another measure has been adjourned.

Senator Pearce - It will be resumed.

Senator NEEDHAM - Is it intended to put the Federal Aid Roads Bill right through to-night?

Senator Pearce - If possible.

Senator NEEDHAM - Accepting the assurance of the right honorable gentleman, I shall not object to the motion.

Question resolved in the affirmative.
