Senator PEARCE - The Prime. Minister has supplied the following answers to the honorable senator's questions: - 1, 2, and 3. The question of suitable arrangements in connexion with the proposed visit of their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of York, is receiving close attention by the Commonwealth Government, but no decision on the lines indicated by the honorable senator has yet been reached. His suggestion with regard to the representation of senators and members of the House of Representatives on any committees which may be appointed by the Commonwealth Government will, however, receive careful consideration.

4.   No sum of money has yet been voted in connexion with the visit.
