Senator THOMAS (NEW SOUTH WALES) asked the Minister representing the Prime Minister, upon notice -

1.   Whether it is a fact that approval was given some time ago for an additional six months' leave being granted to Commonwealth public servants who had completed a second period of twenty years service,?

2.   Has any officer been granted the extra leave, and, if so, how many?

3.   Has any payment been made in lieu of such leave?

4.   Is it a fact that approval for the extra furlough has now been cancelled, and, if so, for what reason?
