Senator FOLL (QUEENSLAND) . - I should like to hear from the minister for Defence (Senator Pearce) whether there is anything in the principal Act permitting extenuating circumstances to be taken into account. Senator Payne has mentioned that . an employer might go out of business, and I should like to know. 'whether there is any provision in the existing Act to exempt him insuch circumstances from liability under this clause.


Senator Drake-Brockman - He might trade as a limited liability company, as a proprietary company, or in half-a-dozen other ways, to escape his obligation under the clause
