Senator DRAKE-BROCKMAN (WESTERN AUSTRALIA) - The term "military" is pretty wide these days.


Senator SENIOR - We know that. I fear that a person might be disqualified under this provision because he is not connected with " the military, notwithstanding that he might possess qualifications that would come under the head ing of scientific and professional. The objection which was regarded as valid by the Minister in regard to the previous clause is, I contend, equally valid here.
