Senator KEATING (Tasmania) . - I did intimate to the Assistant Minister that I intended to ask him for some information regarding two items dealt with in a Works and Buildings Bill some months ago, and to ascertain how those matters stood at the present time. The Minister, however, gave me the information in Committee on the previous Bill. It was in connexion with the vote for the Department of Home Affairs in this Bill that I intended to ask him a question, because the matters come under this Bill ; but I accept the information he gave me in a previous Committee as if I had asked him on this occasion.

Senator Russell - I was anxious to avoid discussion.
