Senator RUSSELL (Victoria) (Assistant Minister) . - A good deal has been done in that direction already. But the whole matter is under consideration, and probably, at an early date, a decision will be arrived at. In connexion with the building of the Federal Capital, and of the extension of our defence works, I trust that, in the near future, we shall lay down a definite policy. The question of rolling stock for our railways will also come up for consideration. The matter has already been referred to the Department of Home Affairs, and I hope that, at an early date, I shall be able to communicate to honorable senators a decision which will be satisfactory to them.
