Senator O'KEEFE (TASMANIA) - Does not the Minister of Defence think that he should immediately make an emphatic protest to the Imperial defence authorities against the system of censoring news relating to the operations of the troops in the Dardanelles, including some of the Australian Forces? In explanation of the question I wish to state that in this morning's newspaper we have one message with the big head-line, " What the Turks Claim." They claim that 400 of the Allies troops have been killed, and that some troops, including Australians, have been taken prisoners. That is reported to be a covimuniqtué issued in Constantinople. At the same time there is not the slightest detail given.
