Senator LYNCH (WESTERN AUSTRALIA) - In view of the report we have seen in the press that the captain and the officers of the Emden knew all about the movements of the first Australian contingent and were prepared to take action, and in view of the supposed truth of those statements, is the Minister of Defence satisfied that there is no leakage from this country of news concerning the happenings or the movements of troops here, and that adequate surveillance obtains at present over the news which is transmitted to neutral countries, and by that means reaches the enemy ?
