Senator KEATING - Is it a fact, as stated in the press, that the Government, exercising powers given them by Statute, have prohibited the sending of newspapers out of Australia? If that is correct, does the prohibition apply to the transmission of newspapers from the Commonwealth abroad by post? If it does not, are newspapers allowed to be sent away by post, and under what conditions?
