Senator GARDINER (New South Wales) (Vice-President of the Executive Council) . - I have noted the honorable senator's amendment, but I do not propose to go any further at the present stage. We think that the Sill is fairly liberal, and I do not think that there is any advantage to be gained by inserting an amendment giving any one the right to inspect on payment of a fee. This is largely a matter for proved creditors and debtors, and the Government as representative of the public interest.

Progress reported.
