Senator KEATING (Tasmania) . - I propose to move for the insertion between clauses 24 and 25 of a new clause - 24a, which I have not yet had drafted. The purpose is to extend the powers of the Registrar up to the limits of the powers given to the Registrar inNew South Wales. I rise now only to ask the Minister in charge of the Bill if he will have any objection at a later stage, should it appear to me to be necessary, to have clause 24 recommitted for the purpose of making the amendment I suggest to extend the powers of the Registrar.

Senator Gardiner -i see no objection to that..

Clauses 25 to 42 agreed to.

Clause 43 (Gazette to be evidence).
