Senator NEEDHAM - I wish to ask the Minister of Defence a question, without notice, following upon a question I addressed to him last Thursday, in connexion with the recent shipwreck off Point Nepean. The captain of the wrecked vessel stated in an interview with a representative of the press that an officer at the fort had treated some shipwrecked sailors in a very unkind way. I asked the question in justice to the officer at the fort, and the Minister promised to make inquiries into the matter. I wish to know now whether he is in a position to give me a reply to the question?
