Senator RAE asked the Minister of Defence, upon notice -

1.   Does the cost ofthe residence erected for the manager of the Lithgow Small Arms Factory, stated at £2,750, andthe other -residences erected at a cost of £1,490 and £1,510 respectively, represent the full cost of those residences, including cutting, excavating, and levelling for foundations, also road making, planting of trees, erection of tree-guards, grading banks, and formation of lawns, &c.?

2.   If not, what is the additional cost to be charged to these items?

3.   When will the rental for the manager's residence be determined?
