Senator GARDINER (NEW SOUTH WALES) - Yesterday I asked the Minister representing the Minister of Home Affairs whether a certain decision was due to the fact that the Assistant Minister of Homo Affairs had decided to cancel the agreement to give Mr. Teesdale Smith a further contract from the 122-mile peg to the 129-mile peg, and the reply was, " The Minister made no such agreement with Mr. Teesdale Smith." I now ask if it is not a fact that the Minister put the rubber stamp to an agreement promising Mr. Teesdale Smith a further contract if the first contract was satisfactorily carried out?
