Senator SAYERS (Queensland) . - I shall be pleased if the Minister in charge of the Bill can tell the Committee what is likely to be the total cost of the store at Darling Island, Sydney, for the purposes of public Departments. Generally speaking, a person obtains an estimate before he starts a work of this magnitude, and is able to say what the total cost may be. In my speech on the second reading of the Bill yesterday, I asked the Minister to give the Senate and the country an idea of the probable cost of this store at Darl- ing Island, in respect of which we are asked to re- vote £7,517, and to pass a new vote of £983.
