Senator GARDINER (New South Wales) . - I should like to know from the Vice-President of the Executive Council whether it is the intention of the Government to attempt to get through the business of the session this week ? Judging from the willingness of the Government to adjourn the debate on the Commonwealth Bank Bill, they do not seem to be very particular about when the session closes. We shall shortly have the Tariff before us, and some of us may be inclined to speak upon it at as great length as Senator Walker has spoken upon the Commonwealth Bank Bill.
