Senator MILLEN (New South Wales) . - I would remind the Committee that when this clause was previously under review, the Honorary Minister promised to consider whether some provision could not be framed to meet the conscientious scruples of those electors who object to vote on Saturday. It seems to me that the proper place for such an amendment, as I had hoped he would agree to, is in a prior portion of the clause. Is it the intention of the Minister to propose an amendment dealing with the cases of those persons who, for religious reasons, object to vote on Saturday ?
