Senator FINDLEY (Victoria) (Honorary Minister) . - I received no intimation from Senator Millen that he intended to take this course. I am not disposed here and now to say whether the Government will accept the amendment, but if the honorable senator will allow it to be postponed, it will be considered. That will afford me an opportunity to confer with the Cabinet and the head of the Department to see whether the proposal can be embodied in a regulation, and surrounded by sufficient safeguards to meet the wish of the honorable senator. In these circumstances, I ask him to agree to a postponement of the proposed new section. If he will allow me, I will move accordingly.
