Senator PEARCE (Western AustraliaMinister of Defence) (Minister for Defence) .- The points which have been raised by the amendment are somewhat difficult to deal with. The Government have not had time in which to decide whether the clause should be altered in the direction suggested, and in order to afford time for fuller consideration, I move -

That the clause be postponed.

Motion agreed to; clause postponed.
