Mr SPEAKER -Order! I ask the right honourable gentleman to ask the question.


Mr William McMahon (LOWE, NEW SOUTH WALES) - Does this background not indicate quite clearly that following the action of the Government, particularly with regard to the special variable deposits, the effect of this inflow on the money supply will be minimal and that the Treasurer's statement about the effect on the money supply will turn out to be close to being right?


Mr SPEAKER -Order! The right honourable gentleman has gone too far.
