Motion (by Mr Sinclair)-by leaveproposed:

That so much of the Standing Orders be suspended as would prevent the Leader of the Opposition speaking for a period not exceeding 30 minutes and the Prime Minister and the honourable member for Oxley each speaking for a period not exceeding 30 minutes.


Mr Donald Cameron (GRIFFITH, QUEENSLAND) - I take a point of order, Mr Speaker. Did the Leader of the House say the honourable member for Oxley' or 'the honourable member for Adelaide'? The honourable member for Adelaide is the Opposition's shadow Treasurer.
