Mr McLeay asked the Minister for Air, upon notice:

(1)   Was the curfew at Adelaide Airport broken by a V.I.P. aircraft on Wednesday, 8 March 1973.

(2)   If so, (a) for whom was the flight ordered, (b) who were the passengers and (c) upon whose authority was the curfew broken.

Mr Barnard - The answer to the honourable member's question is as follows:

(1)   and (2) No. However, on 7 March 1973 a V.LP. aircraft carrying the Prime Minister, Dr Wilenski, Mr Williams and Sergeant Brown, left Adelaide Airport five minutes after the curfew time of 11 p.m., due to an unforeseen delay.
