Mr N H Bowen (PARRAMATTA, NEW SOUTH WALES) - My question is directed to the Prime Minister. In referring, in his recent answer, to persons who had been convicted of crimes hemp mentioned in the Parliament, he did in the course of his answer make a very serious allegation against my colleague in the other place who was the previous Attorney-General and suggested that he had covered up for such persons. I ask the Prime Minister: Will he now, in fairness to my colleague, name the instances where he suggests that this has occurred in order that the former Attorney-General may have an opportunity of defending himself against this serious charge?

Mr WHITLAM - The former AttorneyGeneral will be fully exposed in the statement to be made in the other place by the present Attorney-General this evening and in this place by the Minister representing him also this evening.
