Mr BRYANT (Wills) - Mr Speaker,1 wish to make a personal explanation.

Mr SPEAKER -Does the honourable member claim to have been misrepresented?

Mr BRYANT - Yes. The honourable member for Griffith (Mr Donald Cameron) extracted something from a speech I made last night and used it as part of a question. I think that he should read more of my speeches. This is what I said:

I personally believe that the establishment of foreign bases on Australian soil is a piece of national treachery. Australians must retain absolute control of their own soil, their own rights and their own future.

If any honourable member opposite would like to discuss that matter in public somewhere, I will be available.

Mr SPEAKER -Order! The honourable member cannot debate the question.
