Mr DEPUTY SPEAKER (Mr Lucock (LYNE, NEW SOUTH WALES) - Does the honourable member claim to have been misrepresented?


Mr JARMAN - The honourable member for Grayndler (Mr Daly) said during his recent tirade that he had seen Mr W. T. Arthur, the Prime Minister's Research Officer, and me outside Parliament House last Friday and that therefore we were in some way associated with the Moratorium. I went out with Mr Arthur - and Mr Arthur cannot speak for himself in this House so I speak for both of us - to hear what advice the Leader of the Opposition (Mr Whitlam) was giving to those who want a Communist victory in Vietnam.
