Bill returned from the Senate with a request.

Message from the Governor-General, recommending appropriation for purposes of an amendment to be moved upon request by the Senate, announced.

Motion (by Mr Chipp) agreed to.

That the request be considered in a Committee of the Whole forthwith.

Mr Crean - I think the Minister might have explained for the benefit of the House that all we have to do to this Bill is to correct a typographical error. A sum which was supposed to be$1. 5m appeared as $1,000,500.

Mr Bury - What the honourable member for Melbourne Ports has said is quite correct. It was an unfortunate and regrettable error.
