Mr Clyde Cameron (HINDMARSH, SOUTH AUSTRALIA) asked the Minister for Labour and National Service, upon notice:

What reduction does Commonweatlh Hostels offer for board and accommodation to female employees who are not in receipt of male rates of pay.


Mr Snedden - The answer to the honourable member's question is as follows: 1 am advised by Commonwealth Hostels Ltd., that charges for board and lodging of Commonwealth Hostels employees are prescribed by awards and agreements and these do not provide for reduced charges to female employees.
