Mr TURNER (BRADFIELD, NEW SOUTH WALES) - I address a question to the Prime Minister. It relates to aid to Asian countries. I refer to a reported statement made by the right honourable gentleman in Japan indicating a partnership between that country and Australia in the giving of aid to countries in the Asian region. Is it also true that substantial changes have already been made in our aid policy with a bias towards our trade advantages rather than our foreign policy objectives? Does the right honourable gentleman think that a statement ought soon to be made to clarify the Government's policy on these matters?
