Mr Snedden - On a point of procedure rather than a point of order I point out that the amendment which was moved to this Supply Bill, if passed, would have resulted in the Supply Bill not being able to be passed. The consequence of that would have been a most tortuous procedure to try to reinstate the Supply Bill, hence the Government had no alternative but to vote against it.
