MrGRASSBY presented from certain citizens of Australia a petition requesting that the Federal Government make sufficient funds available to the State Government so that much needed and vitally necessary improvements can be made to the schools in this area and to all other public schools in New South Wales. Specifically, it is requested that the Federal Government make funds available to: (a) erect a block at West Wyalong High School that includes manual arts, music, art, senior study and storage rooms; (b) erect a new West Wyalong Primary School; (c) erect an assembly hall which is stage 3 of the High School and which could serve both schools.

The petitioners pray that the House of Representatives will take immediate steps in this matter.

Petition received and read.
