Mr TURNBULL (MALLEE, VICTORIA) - The Minister for National Development will recall that on more than one occasion I have asked that he convene a meeting of representatives of the Commonwealth Government and the State Governments concerned to consider the case for pipelining water lo areas of consumption from the Murray and Mumimbidgee Rivers. I now ask: In view of the increasing need for the adoption of every possible means to conserve Australia's water supply and the fact that water is now available from the Snowy, will the Minister give urgent consideration to convening the meeting as suggested?
