Mr HAROLD HOLT - It is not easy to deal in a factual way with questions which tend to be so loaded with political propaganda content, but, Sir, my colleague would state, very competently, Government policy particularly in relation to a department of which he is the ministerial head. Of course, this Government, while facing what it regards as the practical requirements of a military situation as it sees it from time to time, periodically reviews the kind of contribution which Australia can fittingly make. That will continue to be our policy.
