Mr SWARTZ (DARLING DOWNS, QUEENSLAND) (Minister for Civil Aviation) - I think the information given by the honorable member is entirely incorrect. The airline operators must conform to regulations which are strictly administered by my Department. These regulations require the maintenance of radar instruments in an efficient condition. If a breakdown of an instrument occurs during flight it is reported and. attended to immediately on landing. If the honorable member has any individual case in mind he should refer it to me and I will then see that it is investigated.
