Mr PETERS (SCULLIN, VICTORIA) - Does the Prime Minister know that according to the Commonwealth Marriage Act 1961 a person aged between 18 and 21 years must get consent from a parent or authorised person in order to marry? As the Government forces boys aged between 18 and 21 years to go to war in Vietnam, in spite of the opposition of a parent or guardian, does the Government consider marriage more hazardous than war? Does it believe also that it is more difficult on a honeymoon than on a battlefield?
