Mr COLLARD (KALGOORLIE, WESTERN AUSTRALIA) - I ask the Prime Minister a question about the inter-departmental decentralisation committee referred to last year by the Minister for Trade and Industry. Does the committee still exist? If so, how often does it meet? Is it answerable to a Minister? If so, to whom is it answerable? Has the committee brought down any recommendations relating to the advancement of decentralisation which require the attention of the Parliament? If so, does the Government intend to take any early action to implement the recommendations or are they to be ignored as were those submitted by the Northern Division of the Department of National Development?
