Mr Hayden n asked the Prime Minister, upon notice -

1.   How many Cabinet Ministers have made official visits to Asia in each of the past five years?

2.   In respect of each visit, what was (a) the name of the Minister concerned, (b) the purpose of the visit and (c) the length of time spent in Asia?


Mr Harold Holt - The answers to the honorable member's questions are as follows -

1.   Seventeen Ministers have made official visits to Asia in the past five years.

2.   The Minister, the duration of each visit and the countries visited are listed below -
