Mr OPPERMAN (CORIO, VICTORIA) (Minister for Immigration) - The reason for not issuing a visa in this case is the conduct of this man when he was formerly in Australia. He was convicted here in 1959 of an assault on his wife and her brother and df malicious damage.


Sir Wilfrid Kent Hughes (CHISHOLM, VICTORIA) - I rise to order. Is it in order for the personal details of individuals to be dealt with at question time? However correct the procedure may be, it does not seem to me to be in accordance with parliamentary practice.
