Mr JAMES (HUNTER, NEW SOUTH WALES) - I direct a question to the Postmaster-General. No doubt he is aware that there was a high rate of illiteracy in New South Wales before 1866. As it will be 100 years next year - actually within a few weeks - since Sir Henry Parkes introduced the public school system in New South Wales per medium of the Public Instruction Act, will the Minister consider issuing a stamp to commemorate this great achievement of Sir Henry Parkes?
