Dr FORBES - The suggestion that the Government has placed any particular ban on Colonel Bramfield is completely untrue. There is a well established policy, which has always existed, that operational commanders returning from overseas do not, for very good reasons, give Press interviews. This is known to Colonel Bramfield and to everybody in the Army. This is the policy that has been followed in this instance. I will be only too glad to consider the request made by the honorable member for Kingston in the last part of his question, that members of the Parliament should have an opportunity to talk to Colonel Bramfield when he has recovered.
