Mr SNEDDEN (Bruce) (AttorneyGeneral) . - The Government does not accept the amendment moved by the honorable member for Moreton (Mr. Killen). As to the use of the words "as it thinks proper", one has to find words which are appropriate. The United Kingdom act uses the words " such as appears proper ".


Mr Buchanan - Let us have Australian words.


Mr SNEDDEN - The Australian words are in the Bill. The United Kingdom act uses the words " as it appears proper " so, as the honorable member for McMillan said, let us have the Australian words.


Mr Buchanan - Let us have some certainty.


Mr SNEDDEN - The honorable member is now shifting his ground.
