Mr WHITLAM (Werriwa) . - When the Bill was introduced last May - still more, when the legislation was forecast three years ago - it was expected that the penalties would be in the ancient currency. Monetary measures, however, have proceeded with greater speed than restrictive practices legislation and, accordingly, it has been necessary to make this conversion to decimal currency. We support the amendment and trust that the legislation will be in force by the time decimal currency comes into operation.
