Mr McMAHON - Some weeks ago I made a statement in the House relating to rejections of national servicemen, or potential national servicemen, on medical grounds. I do not think I covered in that statement the case of national servicemen or potential national servicemen who might be rejected for other reasons. What I did disclose to the House was that the number of rejections on medical grounds was not large. Nonetheless, if the honorable gentleman feels that it is desirable, I shall make certain that my Department does have this information brought up to date, and as and when we think it necessary or desirable to make the information available we shall do so. I shall have a look into the matter of rejection on other grounds and if I feel that a useful statement can be made I shall attempt to make it in the House.
