Mr McEWEN - In 1951 all the woolgrowers' organisations in Australia - the Australian Woolgrowers and Graziers Council, the Australian Wool and Meat Producers Federation and the Australian Primary Producers Union - jointly interviewed the Prime Minister, myself and other senior Ministers in the Cabinet room, and asked for the introduction of a reserve prices plan for wool. This seemed to me to indicate quite clearly at that time a unanimous desire on the part of the chosen representatives of and spokesmen for the wool industry. Pursuant to that my Government, the Prime Minister's Government, our Government, said at that time that if this was the view -
